In recognition of the outstanding contributions made to the field of CAA, the CAA Conference Advisory Committee awards the ‘Joanna Bull Prize for Best Paper’ annually.

2006

This year the Joanna Bull prize for Best paper went to Bill Warburton of Southampton University (www.soton.ac.uk) for Quick Wins or Slow Burn? Modelling UK HE CAA uptake (PDF file size: 108KB).

2005

The 2005 Joanna Bull prize for Best Paper was awarded to Andrew Boyle of the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (www.qca.org.uk) for Sophisticated Tasks in E-assessment: What are they and what are their benefits?

2004

In 2004 we were pleased to award the prize, along with a free delegate place, to Robert Harding of the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) for his paper Thinking Skills Tests for University Admission.
